I’m writing this review for everyone who actually enjoys eating their produce after they’ve purchased it— anytime I buy anything that’s a real food item (non processed, like blackberries, tomatoes, for example) it always goes bad in a day, or I finally take it out of the package and see it was moldy to begin with. Go to Wegmans or support small local farms.

I’m a fan of what I’ve had so far, EXCEPT the buffalo cream cheese chicken dip. Don’t do it. It’s a hunk of cream cheese and a load of shredded cheese on top. There’s no chicken, there’s no “buffalo” kick. Like I said, a glob of cream cheese and shredded generic cheese. That was highly disappointing

I really wanted pomegranate seeds today, I went to whole foods this morning and when I got home I took a big spoonful in excitement… it was the worst taste I’ve ever experienced. I looked at the pot and it was 2 days past expiry. I went back to the store for an exchange, the woman was not bothered by this, she just said “well there you go, you got a refund” and I said, “well I didn’t want a refund”. I then had to locate someone on the floor to show them that the pomegranate seeds were expired, before someone else got seriously ill from it. Very bad customer service today, and unfortunately it’s not the first time purchasing expired food from this store. Would have been okay if the customer service was better.

I really enjoy shopping at this Whole Foods location. The store offers a wide selection, everything is fresh, and overall the quality is excellent. However, there is one issue I genuinely don’t understand: the small portions of fish are sold with the scales still on. When I ask the staff to clean the fish, they assure me it is already cleaned. But when I start cooking it, I discover that the scales are still there. I would understand this if I were buying a whole fish, but small pre-cut portions should definitely come properly cleaned. I also spoke with the manager, who told me that people eat salmon with the scales. I researched this specifically, and I could not find any source confirming that people actually eat salmon scales. It’s surprising that the manager wasn’t aware of this. I truly hope this issue will be improved, because customers do not have commercial kitchens at home to clean fish properly.

This is a small Whole Food, but is literally amazing. A salad bar, seafood section, and even a wide variety of poultry. The snack and sweet treats are delicious too.
